Welcome to Georgia Institute of Technology and your residence hall community! You are embarking on the most exciting time of your life. Some of the adjustments you will experience will be challenging to you. At times, you will grow in ways you may not have expected through the sense of community that you and your neighbors will develop throughout the course of the academic year.

Georgia Tech's Department of Housing offers a comprehensive program to meet students' various needs. Whether you are beginning your collegiate experience or continuing your education, I encourage you to take advantage of the opportunities which await you. By living on campus, you not only have the convenience of living close to classes, but you also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of programs and activities. Campus living offers helpful and supportive staff, faculty interaction, academic support, leadership development, and employment opportunities. Georgia Tech's Housing is a diverse living-learning community that offers traditional residence halls, suites and apartment living. I strongly encourage you to become a hall government leader. I challenge you to become a responsible member of your hall community; this requires a commitment to community standards that exist to maintain an atmosphere supportive of your academic goals.
